This mounting clamp has an internal diameter of 90mm and will become the backbone of a miniature imaging rig with a cooled deep-sky camera and a camera lens.

The ring bolts to a dovetail bar that can be mounted directly onto an equatorial mount. Alternatively, it can be bolted to a dovetail above an existing rig.

It also has a series of threaded holes to allow mounting of equipment such as guide cameras, focus motors, etc.

The clamp is suitable for the following cameras:

Usage example

Here is an example of how the ring is used. The 90mm ring fits on a ZWO2600MC-Pro which has been attached to a camera lens for wide angle imaging. The ring is mounted on a saxon Multipurpose Dovetail Mounting Plate using M6 bolts from beneath the plate. This will hold the camera and lens firmly on the mount. For autoguiding, a Sidereal Trading 2-Ring 30mm f/4 Guidescope can be fixed to the top of the camera mounting ring using a saxon Multipurpose Finder Shoe Bracket.
