The Sidereal Trading 2-Ring 30mm f/4 Mini Guide Scope is a compact and stable guiding solution for astrophotography setups. It features a 33mm aperture and a 130mm focal length, providing an f/4 focal ratio suitable for guiding telescopes with focal lengths up to 1200mm. The built-in non-rotating helical focuser provides 11mm of smooth travel for precise focus adjustment. The position of the two mounting rings can be adjusted and locked in place with the supplied nylon tipped knurled thumb screws.
The two-ring version provides a more stable and inflexible mount for the guidescope, ensuring accurate autoguiding regardless of telescope orientation.
The included guidescope rings and dovetail make it easy to attach to various mounts, using a standard finderscope foot or mini-Vixen clamp. It is also lightweight, weighing approximately 350g (including tube ring, dovetail mount and helical focuser). The focuser includes a brass 1.25″ compression ring for eyepiece format guide camera and a 42mm male thread compatible with most puck-style planetary cameras.
