The Esprit 60EDX Triplet APO Refractor combines a compact 60mm, 360mm focal-length optical tube with a fast f/6 focal ratio. Its fully multi-coated optics, precision focuser and portable design make it an exciting option for wide-field astrophotography.

The included field corrector helps deliver a fully illuminated 43.2mm image field, while an optional 0.75x reducer/corrector is available for even wider and faster imaging.

Description

The Esprit 60EDX with triplet optics and optically-matched triplet Field Flattener is a compact, versatile combination capable of full-frame imaging.

An optically matched 3-Element 0.75x M48 Reducer is also available for imaging at f/4.5. The imaging circle is 43mm, so, like the included Field Flattener, it can be used with camera sensor sizes up to and including full-frame.

The Esprit 60EDX features a premium f/6 triplet optical system that includes a Japanese Hoya FCD100 ED glass lens element.

Each air-to-glass lens surface is coated with advanced anti-reflection metallic coatings to maximise light throughput, achieving nearly 99.5% transmission. Sky-Watcher’s proprietary “Metallic High-Transmission Coatings” (MHTC) rank among the finest anti-reflection coatings in their class.

Other features include a sturdy CNC-machined dual-speed Rack & Pinion focuser with a 2.75″ indexed drawtube, high load capacity and no image shift. A rotatable adapter is included on the focuser drawtube to assist with framing your images.

Supplied with a soft storage/carrying case that accommodates the telescope with tube-ring, carry handle, Vixen-type dovetail and the included Field Flattener.
