The QHY268M deep sky camera is a back-illuminated CMOS cameras with true 16-bit A/D and 3.76um pixels. The Sony IMX571 sensor is an ideal mono CMOS sensor exhibiting no amplifier glow. 16-bit A/D gives high resolution sampling of the whole full well range. Digitizing 0-65535 levels yields a smooth image with continuous gradation of greyscale levels.

The version of the QHY268M delivered after January 2023 has a revised front end on the camera. It connects to a filter wheel using six bolts, and may connect to other components in the same way, depending on your image train. Check the Combo drawings in the documentation for details.
