The iOptron HAE69C AZ-EQ dual strain wave gear mount is a heavy-grade harmonic mount that can work in alt-azimuth mode for visual astronomy or equatorial mode for astrophotography. It can carry up to 31kg in payload without a counterweight (36kg with a counterweight) and will deliver an astronomy experience like never before.

HAE69C dual SWG Alt-az/ Eq mounts now have an internal main board and no longer requires a handset. The mount has USB ports on both the mount base and saddle that connect directly to the main board for mount control and firmware upgrade. It also features a built-in Wi-Fi for connection.

The optional 8411 Go2Nova® handset with OLED will provide a better user experiences, especially at extreme temperatures.

The HAE69C EC features a high precision RA axis encoder that delivers incredible tracking accuracy, enough that many will choose to image “sans” guiding.
