The ZWO M68 tilt plate is used as a replacement for the tilt plate supplied on the ASI2600 series cameras. When using a filter wheel and off-axis guider, the tilt plate is moved from the front of the camera to the front of the off-axis guider.

If the output of the telescope’s coma corrector or field flattener is M68 male (as against the more common M48 male), you will need this tilt plate to attach the OAG to the corrector.
