The ZWO ASI676MC is designed as an all-sky camera, and features a square 1/1.6″ sensor to allow you to maximise your sky view. It has a resolution of 3552×3552 pixels, making the camera 12MP. It is suited to full sky surveillance, including recording meteors and other transient phenomena.

It is also highly suitable for lunar, planetary and solar imaging, with 2.0µm pixels giving high resolution. The sensor will contain a full disk image of the Sun or Moon with focal length of 650mm or less.

The camera is fitted with a Sony STARVIS-2 IMX676 sensor, which has zero amp glow, low readout noise and dark current, as well as good sensitivity in the near-infrared. It also has 256MB of DDR3 memory, preventing partial frames, and a USB3 connection for high frame rates.
