TS-Optics Concenter 2″ – you cannot adjust a Newtonian more easily
TS-Optics Concenter 2″ eyepiece consists of a closed cylinder, similar to a Cheshire eyepiece. The crucial difference is the inserted disk with concentric circles. With the Concenter the center of the primary and secondary mirrors is taken into account (without the need for a centre mark). Even the Newtonian offset is concidered. Also the adjustments are done with a fully illuminated focuser.
Collimation is acheived by aligning the edge of the mirrors so that an exact congruence of the optical light path is met. Now you can collimate more precisely than with a laser, above all you can be sure that not only the axis, but also the field is optimally adjusted.
With the TS-Optics Concenter 2″, even beginners can achieve perfect collimation of their Newtonian telescope for visual observing and astrophotography.
Features include

- Fits into the 2″ receptacle of the focuser
- With high-quality protective container
- You see immediately, whether the telescope is perfectly collimated or not.
- The adjustment is made via the edge of the mirror and not via a center mark, this is much more precise.
- The offset is also taken into account.
