The ToupTek AstroStation is  small and powerful computerised device that can control all elements in your astronomy or astrophotography equipment. The idea of the AstroStation is to simplify your experience, enabling you to concentrate on the night sky rather than fighting your equipment.

Through the AstroStation App, users can easily and reliably manage various astronomical devices such as guide cameras, deep space cameras, planetary cameras, motorized focusers, and equatorial mounts.  AstroStation offers high scalability and flexibility, allowing for customization and expansion according to your needs.

Features

• AstroStation continuously supports and is compatible with a wide range of astronomical photography equipment from various brands, achieving full integration of functionalities.
• Internal: 4GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard eMMC storage.
• External: Expandable storage compatible with mainstream SD cards, which are universally compatible with regular digital camera SD cards, with capacity expandable up to 256GB.
• It supports dual-band antennas (2.4G/5G) with a maximum operating distance of 20 meters. The external enhanced dual-band antennas support both 2.4G and 5G frequency bands, boosting signal strength and doubling speed. It seamlessly switches between internal and external network cards.
• With a gigabit Ethernet port, network transmission is more stable, and gives you an alternative to WiFi communication. This is especially useful at star parties when you’re in the presence of many WiFi transmitters.
• Two USB 3.0 outputs
• Two USB 2.0 outputs (one tailored for external wireless network cards)
• Four 5.5×2.1 12V outputs (total max output 8A, max output 5A on any port)
• DSLR snap port to fire an untethered DSLR.

Control

AstroStation can be remotely controlled via the AstroStation App, catering to both entry-level and professional astronomical photography operations. Users can create a wireless hotspot using their personal Wi-Fi or home router and connect AstroStation to this hotspot for signal extension.

Note: AstroStation does not currently support the use of 4G/5G wireless network cards or remote control via remote stations/4G/5G mobile data, which require public network IP or port mapping.

Works with all brands

At the current stage, AstroStation supports compatible brands including: ToupTek Astro, QHYCCD, ZWO, ATIK, Gemini, Astroasis, Sky-watcher, iOptron, Celestron, PlayerOne, and various equatorial mounts based on Onstep design,etc.

In the future, support will be expanded to include more categories of devices such as DSLR cameras and mirrorless cameras.
